Welcome to Le Centre in Gasconie, wine region of the South West France.
Le Centre is a rustic house sitting by a sleepy river in the village of Lavardac. Half way between Bordeaux and Toulouse ( see Itenerary ) The village is surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields, as far as the eye can see.

A new concept, Le Centre is not a hotel, or a B,B but a house, where you can feel at home. lounging on the sofa or raiding the fridge for a glass of wine. I get up early to get the croissants and everyone emerges , in their own time. We usually decide what we are going to do on the day, over breakfast.
There are a lots of activities to choose, from drawing classes, walking, swimming, sunbathing at the lake, hire a boat, visiting places, cycling, wine tasting etc....
A relaxing holiday has two main components, not having to cook and organise and to live at your own pace for a change. I find that in the past the holidays I had to choose from where either very energetic type ( walking 12 miles a day) or a very contemplative pace, which was too quiete. So I decided to create a holiday, where you could do a bit of both.
You do as much or as little as you like....

Catching up with reading before lunch....
The house has five large bedrooms . and is adorned with four hundred years old oak beams. In the house is cool and shady, outside it's an explosion of colours, old stones, vyneyards, and marvellous food, lovely beaches and SUN, SUN, SUN....
The nearest airport is Bergerac, flying with Ryannair, where participants arrive Sunday afternoon and fly back on Saturday afternoon too. Six nights full board and airport transfer (providing you keep to the afternoon schedule) for £ 325. ( extra mural activities and flight not included)
